The word AWANA stands for approved workmen are not ashamed and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
AWANA is a wonderful programme for kids from age 3 to grade 8. Our club and programmes make Scripture memorization fun and are geared to the needs of a range of ages and grades. And AWANA works. Countless times, we have witnessed the way God has used our club programmes to reach boys and girls for Christ.
We offer Cubbies, Sparks, Pals, Chums, Pioneers, Guards, and Junior Varsity programs.

CBM
A confederation of Conventions and unions in witness and service
CBM has a global network of more than 60 partners in 29 countries, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Mediterranean, Latin America, and Canada, seeking to reach many with the transforming power of Christ.
CBM co-ordinates a programme for volunteers to work in short-term mission projects, both in Canada and internationally called Canadian Baptist Volunteers.
They operate a programme called the Sharing Way, which works with the poor through a comprehensive relief and development program.

Family Life ministries of Forest Baptist Church is a ministry to FAMILIES having ANY children 7 years of age and younger; to YOUNG MARRIED couples; to SINGLE parent families.

High school youth group
The high school aged ministry of our church, Unashamed meets on Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. for a balanced program of fun, fellowship and learning. In addition, the group attends large youth events, retreats, and completes service projects within the community.
